It's only a small release but we're pleased to announce the release of Logrotate management in ServerAuth.
Logrotate is installed as default in Ubuntu servers and is a valuable tool for keeping your server logs tidy and ensuring you don't fill up your hard drive with files!
It's currently a very basic implementation but it's another part of server management that can be done without having to log onto your server. Simply head to your server, and navigate to the settings page (if you have permission!). You'll see the new Manage Logrotate section, click to manage the main logrotate config file or hit the refresh from server button to download the list of configs within your /etc/logrotate.d/
folder.
Until we flesh out the management abilities we automatically create a custom_logs
config file. You can use this file to create any custom logrotate configs that you need.
Let us know if there's anything else you want to see within ServerAuth!
ServerAuth provides a whole host of management tools, from controlling who can access your server, to managing your website deployments. And with an ever-growing suite of tools you'll always be one step ahead!
