Frequently Asked Questions

Do you need access to my servers?

Not at all. ServerAuth provides an opensource client for you to install, which periodically checks for changes to your SSH Keys.

Is it safe to give you my team's ssh keys?

Yes, We only store your public keys. Public keys alone can not provide someone with access to your servers and are perfectly safe to share. To make use of the key you'd need the matching private key to exist on the users computer.

What operating systems do you support?

Officially we support Ubuntu, Debian, CentOS and Fedora on your servers. Generally though because our client is opensource and runs as a very standard package, it should be compatible with almost all modern unix based systems.

How many team members and servers can I add?

As we're in early-access, as many as you like! We'll eventually have plans to choose from (And we'll give plenty of notice of this), along with a free plan.

How much will ServeAuth cost me?

We're still finalising our plans, but our goal is to always provide a free plan, along side an unlimited plan for organisations. Right now you can sign up for free and make full use of ServerAuth!
